The Finishing Touch for a Custom Build
Light tinting is the detail that separates a car that looks good from a car that looks intentional. A subtle smoke film over your headlights and taillights darkens the lenses just enough to give your vehicle that custom, aggressive appearance — without the flat, spray-painted look that screams DIY.
We use professional-grade tint film (not spray tint, not Plastidip, not VHT NightShades) applied directly to the lens surface. The result is a smooth, even finish that follows every contour of your light housing. It looks factory. It looks expensive. And it transforms the entire character of your vehicle.
Light tinting pairs perfectly with tinted windows and a chrome delete for a fully blacked-out aesthetic. Or use it on its own to add a subtle custom touch that most people can’t pinpoint — they just know your car looks different, and they like it.

Light Tinting FAQ
With a light-to-medium smoke, the reduction is minimal — especially on modern vehicles with LED or HID headlights that are already extremely bright. We recommend a lighter shade on headlights for daily drivers and offer darker options for taillights where light output matters less. Vito will walk you through shade options and recommend the right balance of appearance and function for how you use your vehicle. The goal is a custom look, not compromised safety.
New York law requires headlights to emit white light and taillights to emit red light visible from a certain distance. Light smoke tint on taillights is common and rarely an issue, but very dark tint that significantly reduces light output could technically draw attention during an inspection. We use subtle, tasteful shades that darken the appearance without blocking significant light. If you’re concerned, we can go lighter — even a light smoke makes a noticeable aesthetic difference.
Yes — that’s one of the biggest advantages of using film instead of spray. Professional tint film can be cleanly peeled off without leaving residue or damaging your light lenses. If you’re returning a lease, selling the vehicle, or just want to change the look, removal is quick and clean. Spray tints (VHT, Plastidip) are a different story — they’re messy to remove and often leave a haze. We only use film for exactly this reason.
